Write, score and export a resume that proves what you did. Six layouts, eight worked examples, a coach that counts.

Three resumes made in Resume Studio, fanned out: Editorial, Ledger and Impact layouts

There are three things every line has to earn:

Proof

At least half your bullets need a number: a percent, a count, time saved or money. The studio checks every one.

Ownership

Every bullet opens with what you did. "Responsible for" and "Helped with" are flagged the moment you type them.

Brevity

One sentence a recruiter can scan. Summaries of 200 to 500 characters, bullets trimmed before they sprawl.

Most people find it hard to write down

what they did, what it changed, and why it mattered.

Resume Studio turns that into a structure. Eight guided sections ask for the facts a hiring manager looks for, in the order they read them.

A live score sits above the form and tells you what to fix next, so you stop polishing fonts and start adding evidence.

  1. Write & structure

Identity, summary, proof metrics, experience, projects, education, skills and certifications. Insert a worked example when the page is blank.

  2. Score & sharpen

A strength score out of 100 lists your top four fixes, each with the points it is worth. Every bullet gets its own note.

  3. Present & export

Pick a layout, paper size and density. Print, save as PDF, or download an animated web resume in one file.

BTW, it keeps score.

Eleven checks add up to 100 points. Numbers in your bullets are worth the most, then action verbs, then a summary of the right length. A complete header, three proof metrics and grouped skills make up the rest.

The score is honest about where you stand, and it only ever asks for things a recruiter would notice.

Type one line from your current resume. This uses the same rules the studio runs on every bullet.

Six layouts. One set of facts.

Switch layouts at any point. Your content stays put, only the page changes. Each preview below uses a different sample resume.

Eight worked examples

Start from a resume that already works. Each one loads fully into the editor: keep the structure and the phrasing pattern, then replace the facts with yours.

  • Software Engineer
  • Product Manager
  • Data / Analytics
  • Finance / Banking
  • Marketing / Growth
  • Sales
  • Education
  • Recent Graduate

A note on every bullet

Weak openers, missing numbers and lines over 265 characters each get a plain-English note, right under the bullet.

Download one self-contained HTML file you can host or attach. Metrics and sections reveal as the reader scrolls, and it still prints cleanly.

Your draft stays on your device

Every change autosaves in your browser. No account, no upload, and the whole studio runs from a single file.

A portrait, only if you want one

Upload a photo and show or hide it per layout. The studio reminds you that many US and UK employers prefer resumes without one.

Also in the box

  • Proof metricsThree headline numbers, each with a label, placed where every layout can feature them.
  • Projects sectionFor early careers: real users beat coursework, and this section carries the page.
  • Reorder rolesMove experience up or down, add or remove bullets, without retyping.
  • Summary counterLive character count with advice on length as you write.
  • Grouped skillsNamed groups such as Languages, Platform and Practice keep tools scannable.
  • Certifications & moreCertifications, languages and awards in a compact closing block.
  • Start blank or from a sampleLoad any worked example, or clear the page and begin fresh.
  • Save as PDFOpens the print dialog with page size already set, so the PDF matches the preview.

Why it beats a blank document.

Feedback while you write

A word processor never tells you a bullet has no number. The studio does, before anyone else reads it.

Design is already done

Six tested layouts with real typographic hierarchy. No fiddling with margins, tabs or broken page breaks.

Examples, not templates

Worked resumes show the phrasing pattern for each role, not empty boxes with "Your Job Title" inside.

Private and portable

Runs in your browser from one file. Export to paper, PDF or the web whenever you are ready.

Questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. Open Resume Studio in a modern browser and start typing. There is nothing to sign up for.

Where is my resume saved?

In your browser's local storage on this device. Clearing site data or switching browsers starts a fresh draft, so save a PDF or an HTML copy once you are happy with it.

US Letter or A4?

Use US Letter for the United States and Canada, and A4 almost everywhere else. The preview, page guides and print settings all follow your choice.

Should I include a photo?

Only where it is expected locally. Many US and UK employers prefer resumes without one, so the portrait is off until you switch it on.

I have little work experience. Will it still help?

Yes. Load the Recent Graduate example: projects and part-time work carry the page, and the same checks for numbers and action verbs apply.

Load a worked example that matches your role, swap in your facts, and clear the flagged items until the score reads Interview-ready.
